This caterpillar is actually called the Garden Tiger Moth caterpillar.such as an Arge moth caterpillar or a Ruby tiger caterpillar.

Many hairy caterpillars, including the tussock moth, have sensitive hairs that can cause itching when touched.

Some tiger moth caterpillars, such as the ruby tiger caterpillar, are harmless.

Garden Tiger Moth or Woolly Bear Caterpillar.....apparently quite rare. It becomes a beautiful insect. It is belong to the family of(Spilosoma virginica).

It appears to have thick, long hairs. They can vary in color from white to yellow, then dark brown.

Despite their appearance, the hairs are not poisonous and serve as a deterrent to predators.

I was washing clothes on the roof of my house when this insect hid in the clothes. When I started picking up the dried clothes, I noticed its presence inside them.

These caterpillars are general feeders and are often found on plants, including many common grasses and garden plants.

They are common in North America and usually pupate in the fall.
