Harvest Time

I took these shots a couple of years ago. That was when I went with a friend along with others to harvest his guinea corn.

It was dried and ready to be harvested so he invited some of his relatives to assist him in harvesting them. I was there too to learn how to that cause that was my first year of planting that crop.

A set people focus on pulling the stem down, a nother set focus on cutting the main crop out of it stem with knife while others pack them into basins and dropped them ina safer place.
