A Magical Solar Eclipse Picnic 🌑☀️

This Wednesday, my husband and I enjoyed a truly special evening watching the solar eclipse together in London. We wanted to experience it safely, so we followed NASA’s recommendation of using a metal steamer to create a simple pinhole-style reflection. By holding it over a sheet of white paper, we could see multiple little crescent-shaped suns projected onto the paper — such a fascinating sight!

We turned the experience into our own little eclipse picnic, bringing along some refreshing beverages and delicious sweets to enjoy while we watched. It was such a great idea that made the day feel surprisingly magical.

Sharing this experience together, sitting outside with our picnic and watching the eclipse change above us, was one of those lovely moments we’ll remember for a long time. Adventures make the best memories.
