Sunday Roast

We chose to have our Sunday roast at the historical Nelson Arms in Farnham.

Apparently the owner admitted that this is the second best roast in town at the moment.

The roasts on the menu include a vegan option - beetroot and butternut squash wellington.

There is the usual half a chicken roasted with thyme, garlic butter and lemon.

The cider braised pork belly with crackling sounded very tempting. So did the slow roasted topside of beef. Though in the end we both went for the lamb roast studded with rosemary and garlic.

All roast dinners here at the Nelson Arms are served with seasonal vegetables, roast potatoes, homemade gravy and freshly made Yorkshire pudding.
