Houses Drawing - Ran Art Blog

in WORLD OF XPILARlast month

Lately, I fell in love with drawing houses.
All kinds, with different landscapes.

In some cases I start with markers to define colors, values, temperature, and saturation

Here is my guide for recommended markers for artists.

After a layer with markers, I use many layers of colored pencils.

I use the colored pencils for details, textures, highlights, and shadows.

When drawing round or cylindrical objects, it is important to pay attention to foreshortening.

Here is my guide for drawing round and cylindrical objects.

Another basic shape (besides a box and a cylinder) is a sphere.
In the next drawing, I drew half a sphere.

Here is my guide for drawing realistic spheres.

Note:
Many of my box-shaped houses are in two-point perspective.
Perspective is the most important fundamental for drawing from imagination and for many drawing styles.
That is my perspective drawing guide

In the image above, in order to show the light, I used a dark background.

Hi teacher. I love all of these drawings, specially the second one. Best regards!

You depicted the light and dark in the last drawing very good! 👍

All of them are great works of art/drawing.
