A Wedding Ceremony

I wrote in my last post that I would share my thoughts about the wedding ceremony. Here it is.

The wedding took place last week. And now I am writing about it. I got sick again. The reason I got sick was due to a severe cold. I love winters but not cold. Weird!🫤
Let’s jump into the real thing. As I told you I have to attend all the ceremonies so I did. I love the wedding preparations more than the ceremonies. As in, I love the days before important events. Gatherings, joy and happiness bring peace. But for me this time it was not like that. Since I lost my mother, nothing feels the same. There is always something missing. I didn’t even want to attend the wedding but I attended.
Well, the day before the ceremonies was much better because of the lack of loud music and people were not.
Wedding ceremonies
I am Pakistani, so here in Pakistan we have 3 important ceremonies which are Mehendi, Baraat, and Walima.
Although before the actual events of these 3 days, we also do dholki. This is a small beginning of the wedding.
The day the bride and groom officially get married is the day of barat.

Whoa, look what I captured, the bride herself likes this picture. 💅
Walima is very important here because it is a sunnah.

Well, I don't have much information about these events, you can Google.
Well, at the mehendi ceremony, we girls brought mehendi plates to the main stage. Less important I don't know why.

The functions were amazing but the walima was amazing because of the food. I forget to capture food.😭

I took a lot of pictures of things there and of myself too.
And I think that's enough. I have nothing more to say.
