GLIMPSES OF THE DAY

Greetings, everyone!

Aren’t we relaying too much on our cell phones?

This is a question that keeps on running through my mind these days. Since I use my phone for work, to capture, to research, to chat, and even after I’m distracted from work, I use social media for fun. Isn’t that weird? But I know that whatever I say, I’m going to end up using my phone. Which is neither good nor bad. Like I say, there are red and blue pills in everything. It’s up to you what you take.

The biggest reason I thought about this topic was one of the reels I saw recently. Yes, I know it’s weird to talk crap about something, but I'm still using the same topic for research. Coming to the point, the reel I was talking about says that

"One day, we'll forget our memory because we relay too much on AI these days."

Which I found to be truthful. As a student, I find myself asking AI for my presentations and assignments. Which I call self-study. The fault is not only ours but also the environment. Nowadays, it is quite difficult to do research, especially going to the library just for an assignment or presentation, which is a waste of time. This is what I think now. I hope there are many people who still do actual research instead of digging into their phones. I also want that sufficient life, peaceful life. But it will probably take time. As I said before with the phone, I captured things, yes. That was also the reason for posting. As my gallery showed me some of my memories.

You won't believe it. At first, I thought taking pictures was a waste of time. Why keep memories? But then I realized that it's okay to keep some memories. As my photo gallery showed me memories called GLIMPSES OF THE DAY, it reminds me of that day, I remember the details, what I did, what was the purpose of taking that picture, everything.

Apart from that, cell phones are good for communication, but I'm trying my best not to make it my place of entertainment, not to try to distract myself from it. But nowadays, it's necessary for my exam preparation.

Btw, I don't know why during exams I want to watch series, drama. And I know that after my exams I won't. I can already imagine my semester break in the scorching summer being a bore.🫩

Oh God…
Sana, I’ve thought a lot about this. I watched many videos and read about it, and they all say that its use can make us dependent and unable to do things ourselves.
When I looked at my life, it felt a bit true. But actually, it depends on how we use it. If we use the phone for research and productive work, it’s good. The real issue is overuse or dependence.
If we use it in balance and don’t rely on it completely, we can still do well in life.

I don't know where we are going, hopefully in the end we will be together with good memories.
