Today was the day I felt energetic and happy after a long time. We had a family gathering at our house for lunch. Right after lunch we decided to play cricket. I was with my three cousins and my father and his brother. I am not a big fan of cricket because it requires a lot of physical effort from you, which is actually a good thing, but I am lowkey lazy. That is why I do not like every sport. I like some of them that include badminton, cricket, and table tennis. Even today, I play cricket very badly. I was the only one who was not hitting the ball. Everyone else was making good shots. Even my father was hitting sixes. All the time, I was trying to hide my poor skills by saying that it has been a long time since I played, and I only play an 8-ball pool on my phone. 🥴

Since we don’t have a big house, we have an empty plot next to our house, so we decided to play there. That plot is full of plants and branches, and in the middle of the plot, there is a clear path for a shortcut to the next road. We were playing right there. As I told you, my father was also playing, so he was playing very well because he was the only one who wasn’t getting out. The reason was that when we didn’t agree, he was hitting sixes. Once he hit a six and the ball disappeared. Literally after that, we played with another ball. At that time, my father was out.

Before I used to play cricket, about 8 years ago with the same people but not at the same place. And I guess I was a little good at cricket at that time, but this time, hell no. It was fun to play all together. It felt refreshing. Well, in the ground, or should I say in the plot, there was a small dog. Sitting alone. He looked very sad but cute. I wanted to take it with me, but I know I can't.
