Isolation Beneath the Stars, The New Lands of The World

So I’m currently calling this continent Isolation Beneath the Stars (abbreviated as IBtS). It’s pretty much the New World of this as of yet unnamed planet.

Initially populated by countless tribes of native peoples, it began to be colonized by Aetoran powers after their discovery of the continent in the 282nd year of the Second Era.

Perhaps the continent’s most striking feature is The Closed Sea encircled by many mountain ranges. Many small kingdoms once dotted the coasts of The Closed Sea, collectively known as The Closed Kingdoms, they traded with tribal seafaring peoples that had once sailed and fished its waters.

In the North tribal shamans known as the Poets of The Living Word carve an ancient script into the trunks and branches of their sacred trees and others worship an ancient presence that wanders the land.

After the Aetorans arrival in SE 282 the Southern islands became a major economic centre and soon became a hub of privateering and piracy around the 500s of the Second Era, many conflicts between various Aetoran colonial forces and the fledgling Bastard Empire erupted among these tropical islands.
