2020 World Environment Day: Time #ForNature
World Environment Day
To commemorate the 2020 World Environment Day on Friday 5, June 2020 under the theme, “Biodiversity” and slogan; “it’s time for nature”, The Greens in partnership with the Regional Delegation of Environment, Protection of Nature and Sustainable Development for the North West Region have organized a five days radio sensitization program with CRTV to raise awareness about biodiversity conservation.
The radio programs also featured Environmental Quizzes during which the presenters asked environmental questions for the listeners and general population to share their knowledge and win prizes (Airtime).
Today, will feature the donation of some trees 🌲 to some some farmers to plant in a bid to promote agroforestry and biodiversity conservation.
