In the fourth week, I am going to make an egg pudding or dessert recipe with eggs and gelatin. The main ingredients of most delicious desserts are eggs and gelatin. Today, we are going to show you what we know and learned from Ma'am's class about making this dessert, the ingredients and cooking techniques. I am going to make this recipe for the first time today. I don't know how it will be, but I will try it.

Why are eggs added to desserts?? What kind of texture do they give??

Eggs are added to desserts because they increase the density, hold the dessert together and create texture. The egg whites help it rise during baking and the yolks give it a rich flavor and thick texture.
The egg whites create foam and make the mixture rise by trapping carbon dioxide gas during baking.
The egg yolks give the dessert a rich flavor and a smooth, thick texture.
When egg whites are beaten, they become light and fluffy, which is used in egg desserts or creamy desserts.
The yolk is made up of fat and protein, which creates a rich and smooth texture.
When the egg mixture is cooked at high heat, it becomes thick and firm. This provides a stable structure in baked goods like cakes.

All the things I needed to make egg pudding,

Sugar for pudding1 teaspoon

Vanilla essenceHalf teaspoon
Sugar for caramel5 teaspoons

In the first step, I put my ingredients in one place, such as eggs, sugar, milk.

Then I poured milk into a bowl, broke an egg into it and mixed it well.

Then I mixed it with half a teaspoon of vanilla essence and a teaspoon of sugar.

Then I made caramel with sugar in several bowls.

Then I poured the caramel into a bowl and after it set for some time, I poured the egg mixture into it.

Then when water boiled in a bowl, I placed the bowl on a stand and steamed it on medium heat for 35 minutes.

Then I put the bowl in the refrigerator for 2-3 hours and put it in a bowl.

Do you have any difficulty in making this recipe?

Yes ma'am I have difficulty. Because this is the first time I have made this recipe. Due to which I did not get much of it on the first day. The next day it was a little hard and I saw some bubbles inside.

What are the nutritional benefits of your sweets?

I searched Google and found out that sweets do not have any direct nutritional benefits, because it is mainly made from sugar and is generally low in nutrients. We all know how risky sugar is for our health, but some sweets can have some benefits due to the ingredients such as milk, ghee, almonds, pistachios and sweet potatoes. Eating too much sweets can be harmful to health, such as increasing high blood pressure, high cholesterol, and diabetes.
Sweets made only with milk or ghee can help increase digestion.
