Yes, I definitely make bread-based desserts at home. Because they are very quick to make and everyone at home likes them. Like bread rasmalai and bread shahi tukra, etc. These all take less time and don't require much oil. This recipe tastes very good when served cold, and children especially love it.

Today I am making vermicelli kheer (rice pudding), which takes very little time to make and requires only a few ingredients. So let's begin.
What ingredients do we need to make vermicelli kheer:
Thick vermicelli
Half liter of milk
Sugar
Dry fruits
Cardamom powder
Saffron (optional)

- First, we will put refined oil or ghee in a pan and add the vermicelli and roast it on low heat until it turns golden brown.

- Then we will put the milk to boil. When the milk boils, we will add the roasted vermicelli to it.

- We will keep stirring it with a spoon. When the vermicelli starts cooking in the milk, we will check by touching a grain to see if it breaks easily. When the vermicelli is cooked properly, we will add a pinch of cardamom powder and a bowl of sugar and mix it with a spoon.

- When the sugar is well mixed in the milk, we will cook it for a little longer on medium heat so that the kheer becomes fragrant.
- Then we will add chopped dry fruits and two to three strands of saffron and then turn off the gas. Our vermicelli kheer is ready.
- When I serve it, I decorate it with dry fruits on top. My children don't like too many dry fruits in their kheer, so I add less.

Absolutely not, I am making vermicelli kheer here today. I never have any difficulty making vermicelli kheer. It's very tasty and quick to make, and the flavor is absolutely delicious. It's the best option whenever you crave something sweet.

I don't need a special occasion to make this vermicelli kheer. I make it anytime, whenever we have extra milk and vermicelli at home. I surprise my younger son by making vermicelli kheer for him. I like to eat vermicelli kheer both slightly warm and cold; when it's cold, it tastes just like ice cream.
This kheer is always made at my house during the Raksha Bandhan festival because it's used for the puja (prayer), and my younger son loves vermicelli kheer so much. So whenever I feel that I haven't made a dish that the children like, I make vermicelli kheer so that he eats his meal without making a fuss.
