Hello everyone this is me @isha-rehman.today i am excited to participate in Traditional desserts hold a special place in our culture and family memories. They are not just sweet dishes but a symbol of love celebrtion and tradition. Every country has its own special dessert that reflects its heritage. In Pakistan kheer is consider one of the most popular and traditional sweet. It is usually made during Eid weddings and other happy occasions.

Today I am sharing a special Version of kheer called Jaggery Kheer. Unlike the regular sugar based kheer this one is made with jaggery which gives it a natural sweetness rich aroma and an unique brownish color. Jaggery is also healthier than white sugar and add a warm traditional tasty to the dessert. The combination of milk rice dry fruit and jaggery creates comforting and flavorful sweet dish that everyone enjoy.

Step-by-Step Recipe of Jaggery Kheer

Step 1:
First of all wash the rice properly 2–3 time so all dirt or starch is removed. Clean rice help the kheer cook better and gives it smooth texture.

Step 2:
In a cooking pots adds milk washe rise and a little water. Place it on the flam and let it boil. cooks on low to medium heat until the rice become soft and blends with the milk to form a thick and Creamy mixture. Stir occacionly so it does not stick.

Step 3:
Takes another pann and add jaggere sugar and a little water. Boil it until the jagery melts completely and turns into a thick syrop. This syrup will give the kher its natural sweetness and flavors.

Step 4:
In a separat pot heat ghee and add all a nuts included almonds pistachios raisins and choped dates. Frry them slightly until they turn golden. This step enhances their taste and gives the nice aromas.

Step 5:
Now pour the jaggery syrup into the rice milk mixtured. Add the fried nuts and coconot powder to it. Stir wall so everything combins nicely. cook for a few minutes so the flavors blended perfectly.

1. What is your traditional dessert? Have you tried it?
My traditional dessert is Jaggery Kheer and yes I have enjoy it many times. The taste is comforting and full of traditional Flavor.

2. Do you face any difficulty while making this recipe?
The only difficulty faced is making the jaggery syrup perfectly. If it becoming too thick it becomes hard to mix in the kheer so careful timing is needed.

3. On what occasion do you want to make it?
I would love to make this dessert especially on Eid family gatherings and winter evening because jaggery provides warmth and energy making it perfect for cold weather.
