Short story with a twist contest entry by @abdul-rauf

Hello my fellow steemians,
This is my entry to this wonderful contest organized by @belenguerra,@fendit.
A home isn't all about places decorated with beautiful artfacts or the materialistic stuff that we see all around in the environment we see us. If you doupt that, perhaps you should spend just a night with Nadi; Maybe... I should say just half an hour and then experience hell here on earth while you are still alive. This has nothing to do with exaggerations but trust me, when you have a feel of what we go through all day with Nadi; this 'old punk' - a nickname she gave herself you will hail us-her grandsons. Nadi, our grandma who is 130 years of age; a robust centinarian of course at her age, been able to walk unassisted and trembles everyone in the house just with her mere presence.
Things wasn't always as this for a very long time untill we celebrated her 115th birthday. This whole dramatic hell experience started just a week after that 115th birthday when she was diagnosed of amnesia. A medical condition that made her unable to even remember her own name most at times and shouting at us every second of being hungry and not eaten for the whole day. Trust me, this old punk can still have a tray of food in front her and then when you ask of her wellbeing, she will tell you she hasn't had anything passed down her throat since the last night.
She will bring up a chat with you, usually a story of her past experience with collegues only to be asking you questions again as if you were present or you brought it up.
I can never forget the day she made me walk about a mile to a train station that just brought her back from the zoo where she usually goes to; giving us a breathing space. Apparently that day, she met someone who according to her is an old friend of hers, to ask the fellow again of a movie title they were having a conversation about in the train. Hmmmm! Someone who can't even remember her own name sending me to 'a friend' on a mile journey !
The zoo she usually visits had a portion where all species of reptile you can think of can be found there. And anytime she comes back from the place, our ears will become tired of Dinasaurs stories. Up till now, we cannot still figure out as to whether it is the old age that has impacted on her sight or her amnestic syndrome that is making her see those small reptiles as Dinasaurs. Or perhaps it is just another hectic situation we will have to deal with.
But the funny thing is that, she still remembers us all, our names and faces all the same yet can't even remember her own beautiful name NADI...!
Thank you for being part of this contest, friend! We're glad to have you here!!
I’m also glad to be part too
