Abstract Winter - A Short Poem by Another Poet

in #writing6 years ago (edited)

An exercise in contrast.

Darkness, light, never-ending shades of grey. Kindness, apathy, love of doom…

Doomed to love someone that doesn't love you…

Ironies twisted like iron shackles tangled…

Situations and obstacles of impossible proportions...

Possibilities while possibly presumptuous pious people gloat of being presumably impeccable.

Lions twisting and turning in their den nursing baby cubs.

Survivalists overcoming the outdoors.

The thrill of the hunt, wolves chasing a deer.

A snowy winter's day full of brisk wind leaving the leaves of brown and green to mingle and dance in the air.

Final Thoughts

Here's an abstract poem to fuel creativity in fellow Steemians today. I hope this gets the imagination flowing here. Drop a comment and let me know what you think!

Thanks,

Thanks for that! I didn't really know if this one would sink in for people but you've made me hopeful! Have a great day.
