Bilions of universes but just one kind
Each time you go out of your place you meet thousands of different people. On the street, in parks, malls and many other locations. You simply pass over them, or accidentally hit them and in some chases you judge them. You judge they appearance, they walking stile, their voice or gesticulations. It`s easy to do that, this thing do not cost nothing for the person that is doing the action but can cost a lot for the victim. The main idea in this article is: appearance and essence.
I want to give you an example from my philosophy class. Our teacher put us in a circle in front of the classroom and ask for a bottle, then he put the bottle in the middle and named some of us to describe what we see. An orange bottle of juice, that was what our eye sees. Then he continue with an example. You are in a place and you see a nice girl that looks good and start staring at her, exploring her appearance. You look at her like at the bottle, like you look at an object because that is what your brain thinks it is, all this until you make eye contact with her and you start realizing that she is not an object, you become shameful of what have you done and take the eyes away from her. A person is not an object, it is something else.
Look at the man that lives in the streets! Such a fail. Yeah, you said that without knowing that he was a war veteran, a medic or anything you want and at some point in his life he has lost everything. Look at that emo boy! He looks so pussy. Yeah, you said that without knowing that his father may be a shitty alcoholic that beats him every night and that his mother passed away few months ago. Look at that gipsy boy that is begging in the bus station. Let`s avoid him. Yeah, you said that without knowing that his dream is to become a good chief but because of the hard conditions he can`t afford it. Most of people do this judgement each day by looking at appearance.
“After the game the king and the pawn go into the same box”.
So simple. No matter how rich you are, how poor, fat, skinny, white, black or whatever you are, the box is the same to all of us. Then why you spend your life judging other people and making them feel bad? In appearance we are all different but in essence we are the same. We all have our vines replete with blood, we all have the same fucking bones, we all love and we all breathe the same air.
Follow you, Alex!
