5 FREE Stock Image Websites For Your Posts 😍, Plus HOW TO Insert Images.steemCreated with Sketch.

in #writing7 years ago

I've seen so many great posts where authors have placed a great amount of time researching and writing but not getting the attention they deserve. From what I've noticed, most of them posts lack relevant and quality pictures to go with the words. You see, people like to visualize things and if you are not giving it to them, then you are doing it WRONG! 🙅

So I Created A list Of The Top 5 FREE Stock Image Websites To Help Out A Lil Bit!

What is a Stock Image Website?

Stock Image Websites offer you high-quality images, graphic and sometimes videos, and most of these sites are FREE! They are also royalty-free, so you can use these images anywhere you want without the need to credit anyone. They are perfect for entrepreneurs and bloggers like us on STEEM.

Here's the list (in alphabetical order) :

  1. Gratisography.com

  2. Pexels.com

  3. Pixabay.com

  4. StockSnap.io

  5. Unsplash.com

You can find countless HIGH-QUALITY images on these websites, so do take advantage!

If You Are Still Struggling With Inserting Images On Your Posts, Then Don't Fret!

In the markdown, there are three ways to insert images.

Capture 5454.PNG

  • You can Drag and Drop the images.
  • You can simply copy the image from the source and paste it in markdown.
  • You can download the image, and by 'selecting them' you can insert the image straight from your computer.

To Center The Image

Once you upload the images, you will also need to make sure that they are not out of place.

< center > image url < / center >

What I did above 👆, simply do that WITHOUT SPACES. And you'll have your image centered. 👌

Hope this post helped! :)

Thanks man, and yeah Unsplash got some great images! We can really appreciate those photographers' work by showcasing them on our posts and stuff.

Very helpful for newbies like me.... 😊 Do let me know, if we could get even gifs from these stock images sites?! @kryptoknightk

great work bhai nice and helpful information .... thanks bro :)

Some great info for newbies :) pictures make a lot of difference :)

Thank you, they definitely do :)

I like pixabay but not sure how it fairs using the same images to push content online on a wide scale. Cause I feel like google penalizes things like this and throws content to the back of the line when it happens. But don't quote me on that

yeah it might, but it's better than nothing :)
