Harvestman (harvestman) is a spiderlike animal with very long legs. At first glance there is nothing interesting about this animal because this animal looks no different from other spiders. Before we go into more detail about this animal, we first discuss the naming. In the West, the stern spider is known as "harvestman" because the spider is most often seen in autumn, the season where many people harvest their crops. Another name for this animal is "daddy longlegs". For the record, the warehouse spider (Pholcidae) & fly stilts (Tipulidae) were also given the nickname "daddy longlegs" because of their physical resemblance, which is equally long-legged.

In the Indonesian language itself, I still have not found a uniform naming of this animal. A number of Indonesian literature named this animal with the name "harvestman" or "spider harvest". Another literature has its own name for this animal: the spider stilts, because this animal is like a spider & long legs like egrang. This article itself will use the name "harvestman" to refer to the animal in question.
