The age of failure

we live in an age controlled by governments
that care more about politics than people.
for so long we have longed to do and say what we want
without worrying about what people more powerful than us will think of our actions.

we live in an age of freedom
where freedom means "as long as you don't break our rules"
we try to be ourselves
but sometimes we give in to the pressure and follow the path placed before us
the path created by those who have lost their path.

we live in an age where the truth
is determined not by how many believe it
but by who said it.

we live in an age
that has failed.

This is my first attempt at doing something like this so please tell me anything that i did wrong in the comments so that i can get better at it next time.
