We are all entirely new beings again today

in #writing7 years ago

We are all entirely new beings again today. I am not the person you met yesterday, and you will not be who you are today, tomorrow. Even by lunchtime I will have died and been reborn a hundred times. We are infinitely clustering waveforms, endlessly exploding in luminous scintillation, expelling, absorbing, reforming and restacking, entangling and rippling together with every long dripping mist thread exhalation. Right now. Your breathing. Every living thing is being breathed and dreamed into existence. A bee alights on my finger and my entire cellular structure realigns to include its presence. We kiss, and microbes surge across the wet tongue drawbridge. We blend. We don’t exist. Cut off your skin and offer it to the charnel vultures. Grow feathers instead. Pluck those out, and your eyes too, and grow the iridescent dragon scales of a Grand Cayman iguana. Shake all over vividly. Become thunder. Extrude the elegant spikes of the Thorny Dragon Moloch. From here, just relax your jaw, and your hips. Flow down into the mixing bowl of your pelvis… let go… and birth yourself outwards as the voluminous trembling petal folds of a wildly florescent rose.
