Not Only Romeo and Juliet's balcony

In any city for sure there will be symbols of love such as Juliet's balcony in Verone, Italy that made this city famous in the World.

Today I don't want to talk about Verone but about my city that I have just visited. I love my city and even if it is not perfect, it is nice and unique.

Like everywhere in Italy there is an old city and the newish part built after many years. If you go in the old town you can see amazing architecture, buildings unique and why not... even an arch symbol of a love.

Why I am talking about love?

Like in Verone, there were 2 families that were rivals and that were living one in front of the other. I am not sure if they were killing each other like happened in Verone but an actual fact is that they were rivals and they couldn't stay in the same place together even if living very close each other.

Each family had a child, one had a girl and the other had a boy. The two children grown knowing how rivals were the families were born in, decided to start going out together.. everything in secret until the moment they fell in love and decided to get married.

I let you imagine how hard this decision could have been for the couple that in the end... reached the expected result of having peace between the two families and in honour of their love they decided to build the arch in the photo <3.
