Today I am writing about an interesting Steemit Engagement Challenge S28- W1: which is all time my favourite topic ""Zany and the tiny colored dragon""" this amazing challenge organised by @dove11
Zany and tiny Dragon slowly moved forward in the evening, but Jenny remained silent. Her mind was deeply troubled by her loneliness. The Dragon's bright colors reflected the glow on her face, but despite that, she continued moving forward, completely silent. As they walked, Dragon and Zany reached a park. There was wet grass on which Zany sat, staring at the sky with empty eyes. Dragon began playing with her to make her laugh.
Sometimes on her shoulder, sometimes on her hand, sometimes on her head, he would jump up and down. His playful antics made Zany laugh. Zany was overjoyed to play with him. It was as if her loneliness had vanished in an instant. An emotional bond had formed between Jenny and Dragon, as if a strange, small, adorable dragon was filling her life with joy. Zany, too, was fondling the dragon in her arms, delighting in its changing colors, as its vibrant colors splashed all over her jeans and even colored the wet grass.
Zany realized she had laughed like this in a long time. Its changing colors, its sweet smile, its tinkling words were touching her heart. Jenny was unconsciously drawn to it. Zany asked the dragon, "Why have you come for me? No one talks to me, I have no friends. That's why I'm so sad and alone these days. Sometimes I don't understand what I really want." The dragon replied, "I hate it when a sweet girl suddenly goes silent. I'll come back to bring them back to happiness, because it's my job to spread the colors of happiness all around."
To make Zany happy, the dragon started jumping on her lap and changing his color. Sometimes pink, sometimes red, blue, yellow. Seeing his playfulness and mischief, Zany could not stop herself from laughing. Sometimes he would take his wings near her cheeks, the feeling of soft wings was tickling Zany.
Zany's mind started getting attracted towards him, to love him. Tears came in Jenny's eyes, then the dragon said, "Zany, why are you crying?" Then Jenny said, "I am very lonely, I do not have anyone of my own, who would do anything to make me happy, today you are trying so hard to make me happy and laugh. Seeing that, tears are coming out of my eyes." Then the dragon said, "You are very cute, Zany."
Zany said, jumping with joy, "Dragon, don't leave me." I'll be alone again, who will I talk to? But as the night progressed, the dragon's size kept shrinking. Looking at Zany, she became very nervous and asked, "What's happening to you, Dragon?"
Don't leave me. I'm worried. The dragon replied, "Zany, I'll be with you every moment, but not in this form, but as happiness within you. Whenever you laugh, you'll be happy. You'll remember me. Don't let this happiness go away from you. You look so beautiful when you laugh."
As the dragon spoke, the dragon shrank considerably. Zany began to feel nervous, fearing he was leaving her. But before leaving, the dragon extracted a promise from Jenny that he wouldn't leave her. "You keep smiling like that," Zany happily let him go, promising him she'd never be sad again. As the dragon was leaving, he said, "I will always be with you, as your strength. Stay strong, because those who have courage never lose."
Slowly, the dragon disappeared, but as it left, a different kind of joy filled Jenny's heart. Zany no longer saw loneliness and sadness all around her. She felt like she had someone with her, someone who would talk to her and understand her feelings.
