"Steemit Challenge s28wk2 : Remembering Through Healing
Tina was very emotional when she saw the mother of her classmate come to pick them up from school during closing hours. Her heart became disturbed to the extent that she began overthinking the demise of her mother. When she reached home, she rushed to her bedroom without greeting her father, who was sitting in the cushioned chair.
She began to look at her mother's picture and remembered all the beautiful moments they spent together. During her mother's lifetime, she would make sure that she met the needs of their family because her father had been laid off from his job. Since her mother died, everything has become complicated.
All the conversations that her mother engaged in with her in the kitchen, she began to experience.
Her mother said, "Tina, make sure you fry those potatoes because when your father arrives, he will request his food." Tina replied,
"Yes, Ma, I will do that as soon as possible."
Before her mother's demise, she taught her everything about cleaning the house and other household chores. When Tina felt sick, the memory of her mother appeared during a sweet dream. She heard about how her mother would treat her if she were alive.
Tina heard her mother say, 'Don't panic, just be strong and you will heal. It’s not your time to join me, and make sure you take care of your siblings.' At that moment, while Tina was listening to her mother's voice in her sleep, she suddenly woke up alone in her room. She felt as if her mother were still alive.
Tina wishes all those past experiences with her mother could happen again, but it's not possible because some people believe that those who die have gone to rest. Because of the love she has for her mother, Tina now applies all those words of encouragement to heal the emotional trauma that has happened to her.
She missed the motherly care and support that no one could give her. She became angry toward the people around her because she believes that she is hopeless and helpless whenever she remembers the absence of her mother.
Losing her mother is something that cannot be healed because it makes her sad whenever she remembers.
