"Steemit Challenge s28wk2 : Remembering Through Healing"
Life had not been so rosy with Tina ever since she lost her mum a once bright girl full of life and happiness had now becomes the shadow of herself, she could not tell who she had become it was as if her life lost it sparks, Tina would mostly sit alone in the balcony deep in though with so many things running through her mind, her reality was what she would have never imagined but anyways life goes on.
Since Tina was the one responsible for all the household chores she wakes up very early to do the dishes and tidy the house, she barely had time for reading and her home work as all she thought about was how to complete the tasks at home, her life now revolves around the house chores and her studies she completely shut herself off from other activities like school picnic except it was compulsory she also cut all ties with her friends as they always complain that her life had becomes so boring.
Tina's sadness and lonely life was not because of the chores that left her exhausted most of the time although those stressful moments also contributed but it was far from being the reason, Tina's mother and her father loved each other so mush that it was obvious everyone had wish to have such relationship they had, they were always seen together, the night Tina's mother died she had a call from he husband whom his car had badly broke down after his mechanic told him his car would be fixed the next day he called his wife to help pick him up, Tina's mum died on way to her husband as a result of an accident the left her with several skull fracture since then Tina's father had always blamed himself for being the cause of his wife's dismiss, he wish he had never called her out to come pick him up that night, relatives and friends had tried on several occasions to help him recover from his wife death but he could not accept that huge lost so he fell into depression and became another person entirely, Tina's father who was once a cheerful and happy husband and father lost all reason to live and this affected Tina in a negative way, she was a young teenager who was just figuring out her life when she lost her mum but it seems she lost both parents that same day.
Sadness had becomes part of Tina's life she had forgotten how to be happy until one day as she was lost in thought siting at the balcony she felt a tap on her shoulder she quickly snapped back to reality only to see an unknown face smiling back at her Tina was confused so she asked who are you?
The lady replied am a new neighbor I just came into the estate when I spotted you so deep in though then she politely asked are you free i would love if you show me around Tina quickly turned her down with excuses and she left.
It became her routine of checking on Tina even when Tina clearly was not interested not until one day Tina finally decided to give their friendship a chance, for The first time in months Tina charted with someone she was so overwhelmed then she laughed for the first time in a long while.
Tina open up to her new friend about her life and that was the beginning of her healing, her friend sometimes come around for dinner and sometimes help her with chores, one day as they were having dinner Tina's dad came out from the room slowly sat down on the dining chair Tina stood up to serve him but he held her hand instead, he said to Tina dear daughter am so sorry for letting my pain, guilt, anger, take the best of me I was so selfish to have shut you out of my life forgive me please Tina could not believe her ears with tears of joy she hug and dad and they both cried.
I will love to invite @eliany @chant @wirngo to also participate in this week contest thank you.

What a touching storyline! Losing a loved one is one of the deepest pains in the world. I’ve always believed that only God Almighty can truly comfort those who are grieving. Reflecting on the good deeds of the deceased can be a comforting step toward healing. Wishing you success, dear!
I think the hardest reality is knowing that your loved one is truly gone and you will have to live with that painful reality for life also like you said reflecting on the good deeds of the deceased is a great step to healing. Thank you so much for your valuable comments.

A really captivating storyline. You made it look so real and vivid.
I think it's faster to heal and easy to cope with grief when the grieving person is around people who truly care and isolating oneself worsens the situation.
Nice story!
