SOBRENATURAL LEGENDS OF MY COUNTRY: "The Legend of Madam Koi Koi"
This reminds me and takes me back to my primary and secondary school days when I was told about: Madam Koi Koi as a supernatural legend of my country, Nigeria.
In my country, Nigeria, several supernatural legends have been passed down from one generation to another. During my days in primary and secondary school, "Madam Koi Koi" was passed down as one of the most famous supernatural legends.
Is a frightening story that I was so afraid walking at night after hearing the stories for the first time. I was told that Madam Koi Koi is a beautiful ghost and a female teacher who is very strict with her students and that she loved wearing red high-heeled shoes.

The sound of Madam Koi Koi heels whenever she is walking along the corridor frightens people frightened and running for safety when she walks her heels make the sounds "Koi Koi, Koi Koo" noise on the floor, which is always how she got her name, Madam Koi Koi.
According to the story about her, she died mysteriously so many years ago, but her spirit keeps wandering around the school at night. As a boarding school student whenever I recalled the mysterious death of legendary madam Koi Koi and how she would wander around schools at night I wouldn't usually step out of my hostel room.
Well, that is because every student who was told about Madam Koi Koi got to believe that hearing the sound of Madam Koi Koi heels, something terrible may happen which is what I was meant to believe then. In Nigeria, many boarding school students and also day students share stories about seeing a shadow in their schools or hearing about the sound of the famous legend madam Koi Koi at night.
The story I was told:
One day, a female teacher walked into my classroom where other students and I were present and said to us she has a story for us. We became so happy to hear her story which goes this way:
One night in a famous boarding school, some three students decided to stay awake all night after the lights went off. They were all telling ghost stories and laughing among themselves about the legend of madam Koi Koi.
As the three students were busy laughing, the corridor suddenly became quiet. Then they heard a strange sound: "Koi....Koi....Koi...".

At first, when they heard the sound, they thought it was someone playing a prank on them. But the sound grew louder and closer, echoing in the hallway. The three students quickly switched off their torchlight and hid under their blankets.
Right outside their door, the footsteps stopped.
There was complete silence for a while.
The door slowly creaked open.
One of the boys gathered the courage to peek from under his blanket, to see what was going on, but the corridor was empty. Yet the sound of the heels continued to echo and slowly faded away down the hallway.
The next day which was in the morning, the three students asked the security guard if anyone had walked through the corridor that morning.
The guard looked at them smiled and quietly said: "Here in this school some visitors only come at night."

It is a creepy read, always in schools, hospitals and some public places they have this kind of legends. The amazing thing is that they are based on real people who, when they passed away, perhaps, decided to stay there.
