SEC-S30W3: The Things I Am Grateful For

Hello my amazing friends! It's a privilege to be alive and to be part of this incredible contest. As I always say, gratitude is a must. If we have a hundred reasons to complain, then we have More than a thousand things to be thankful for.

Hmm the year 2026 has just begun, in fact, we are still in the first trimester, and sincerely speaking it has not been an easy one for me and my lovely family. We are going through situations that tested our our strength, endurance and faith. Sometimes the burden was so heavy and felt hard to bear. But in all, as I said from the opening paragraph I have so many reasons to be grateful, yes many things that remind me that no matter how tough life may get, there's always something to hold on to. Today I will tell you 3 major things I'm truly grateful for.

First, I am deeply grateful for health. This year, my family and I went through serious health challenges. It was not just me, in fact, when I was still on medication my husband, my mom, and my sister became sick too. There were moments I was so scared, and not sure of what lies ahead. At times, I felt life-threatening, especially when it seemed the treatment we're receiving was not working and I couldn't tell what the outcome would be.

This is the year I learned the true meaning of health is wealth. But through it all, my God Jehovah sustained us. He gave us the strength to endure and the courage to keep going even when things seemed unclear, and uncertain, he also gave us the true wisdom to know what treatment to go for.

I see with my eyes how Jehovah keeps to His words in the Bible book of Psalm 55:22, which says we should throw our burden on Jehovah and He will sustain us never will he allow the righteous ones to fall. Truly, He did just that for us, because during these period we pray often and he came through for us and healed us. Today, we are recovering speedily and be more appreciative of life and health. You know health is something most of us often take for granted until it is shaken, so I am grateful that my loved ones and I came out of that difficult period stronger and alive.

Secondly, I'm deeply grateful for my family, I am blessed with a loving and supportive family. My husband in particular is one in a million, he's so kind and supportive, he's more than a spouse, he's a brother, father figure and a true partner, my greatest support system, he stands with me come what may, and this is something I deeply cherish.

My lovely parents and siblings too are my source of encouragement, giving me love, and prayers, understanding whenever I need it. In a world where love of many has grown cold, I'm so blessed to experience genuine love, and I can't take it for granted. My family is my greatest blessings, my priceless treasures I hold very close to my heart. I sincerely value every moment and memories we shared.

Lastly, I am grateful for my new house. It still feels like a sweet dream come true. Sometimes when I look at the house I wonder how we've been able to achieve something so beautiful and luxurious. Honestly, I always say it is God’s doing because on our own, it would have been very difficult to afford such a luxury. But Jehovah blessed us, not only with financial blessings but he gave us the wisdom to plan and handle our resources properly, the strength to work, and the favor to accomplish it. Yes, may all the glory, honor, praise, and adoration go to him, because it can only be Jehovah! My new house is more than a building, it is the testament of God's goodness, and faithfulness in our lives.

It is our home and it represents comfort, and I speak blessings into our home, stability, love, peace and a fresh start. May the walls carry many beautiful stories and memories, may it will carry blessings and amazing secrets. I am always filled with gratitude each time I step into the house, I am thankful not just for the physical structure, but for the journey, which was not easy, and I'm also grateful for the blessings that made the building possible.

Reflecting on these things, makes me realize that even in difficult times, we always have something to be thankful for. Life doesn't always come the way we planned, but with the Almighty's help and support, family's love, and the blessings we get along the way makes the journey worthwhile. I'm still counting my blessings, and I'm convinced that more are coming and I look forward to receiving them with open arms and heart!

All I can say is Thank you, Jehovah, for everything you have done for me and will continue to do in my life. I will forever remain grateful! I love ❤️ you!!
