SEC-S30W3: The things I am thankful for.

Hello my friends,

This is an excellent topic, and indeed, we should always be grateful for the things that bring us happiness. As you rightly mentioned at the beginning, the year 2026 has only just begun, yet it has already brought terrible tragedies to the entire world. My own start to the new year hasn't been particularly smooth either. However, I remind myself that this is simply life; neither happiness nor sorrow and troubles last forever. And so, I would like to share my first reason for gratitude here. Keeping in mind the rules stipulated for this competition, I will briefly outline just three reasons for which I am thankful.

First Reason for Gratitude:

Previously, very few people lived in my residential colony, and none of them owned cars. Gradually, however, the population of the colony began to grow at an extremely rapid pace, and nearly everyone purchased one or two cars. Yet, while most residents bought vehicles, they failed to create space within their homes to park them; consequently, all these cars began to be parked out on the streets. This soon became a major nuisance; whenever someone tried to drive out of their home, they faced significant difficulty maneuvering their vehicle past the cars parked by others. Then, in mid-January of this year, our local municipal body constructed new roads within our colony and established a dedicated parking facility just outside the colony for the cars. Navigating the streets has now become incredibly convenient; for this, I am deeply grateful to our local government for making our lives so much more pleasant.

Second Reason for Gratitude:

I would like to extend my gratitude to my business consultant and legal expert. For the past year, I had been attempting to register a "trademark" to expand my ready-made garment business; however, the paperwork and bureaucratic formalities involved in this registration process presented immense difficulties. Recognizing the urgency and priority of my needs, my legal advisor exerted his utmost efforts to successfully secure the "trademark" registration for me in a remarkably short period. Typically, this registration process takes two to three years to complete; yet, thanks to his diligent efforts, I was able to obtain the registration in just four months. For this very reason, I am wholeheartedly grateful to this friend—or, rather, my legal counsel—who, mindful of my sentiments and needs, went against the principles of his professional practice to expedite the work.

Third Reason for Gratitude:

I am deeply grateful to a female friend of mine whose tireless efforts enabled us to secure admission for my wife's nephew—who is an integral part of our family (as we have raised him since his parents tragically passed away in an accident)—into a renowned university in London for an MS in Mechanical Engineering. She wholeheartedly assisted us in overcoming the significant obstacles that stood in the way of securing this admission.
