SEC-S30W4: Building a Fable | The Little Dog Around Me.

This is a story of my life and this little dog. While growing up I disliked dogs, but this particular dog has made me like dogs so much.

Early this year I moved to my aunt's side in Abuja and the moment that I arrived at her place I was welcomed by this small dog. I had never seen the dog before, but when the dog saw me for the first time, he was so eager to welcome me that it was as if he had known me before.

From that very moment up to the present, this little dog has been coming close to me and whenever I tried to distance myself from him, he would refuse to eat food.

Whenever I refuse this little dog to come close to me, on that day he will refuse to eat food and begin feeling so sad, but each day that I play with him, such a day will be one of the happiest moments in his life.

The dog can play and jump on someone's body and I have discovered that I am the only one that he is closer to than any other person in the house. The reason why he comes closer to me more than any other person is something I am still trying to know.

However, he is a nice dog, who is so much like a pet even more than humans. Now I am getting used to his behaviour and we are now getting along, with me now being the one who usually serves him food.

Moral: pit is free when we're friendly to them and not when we are too harsh to them. Just like this small dog that found comfort being around me, is the same we can find comfort in our fellow humans. Humility is what I have learnt from this little dog.
