SEC-S30W6: People who motivate | My Dad

To date, and forever, my dad will always remain my number one hero, my source of joy and motivation. My dad started giving me positive motivation from my childhood days all the way through to my adult age. He has been there for me whenever I need him, whenever I am down, his words or motivation encourage me, and make me stronger.

His words are powerful which whenever I apply his words or follow his direction in life things become so easy for me to achieve, my problems get solved, I feel like I have no burdens, I feel more satisfied than any other person. He is not just my source of motivation but he is equally my role model.

As someone who grew up in a military barracks, I felt in loved with military and told my dad that I would loved to join the military immediately after my secondary school education, but my dad rejected my will, which I thought he was against my progress in life, not knowing that his love for me to exile in life is his number one priority.

He sat down with me and spoke to me in the language that I would understand which I did. He didn't criticise the military for me to dislike it, but there was a way that he spoke to me about how things are going in the country and motivated me to take my studies seriously, which today I am one of the happiest people who has followed his dad's decisions.

It didn't just stop there, I immediately graduated from school, my dad congratulated me and still told me that I haven't finished yet which I was like waooh what's this man saying I just graduated from the University.

He not only asked me to further my studies, write professional examinations so I can be satisfied, but he also motivated and supported me to do all that he said which today I am the happiest person for doing all that he advised me to do.
