THE LIFE OF SOCIAL MEDIA

Let me begin by letting us know we are one of the social animals i mean we human persons. We are conscious of living together even though some are not comfortable with it like the misanthropists who hates the human race that is kinda funny and I must tell us their arguments are self refuting because they are humans too.

In recent times there has been a lot of changes in the world as there has been on social medias too.

Social media has undergone tremendous changes and these changes has brought many merits and demerits to the society and the world at large.

In this era, information that are sent can reach one thousand people within an hour or two as two to three thousand. In line with this there has been networks for sending instant messages like WhatsApp, Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat, Palm chat, BBM. To mention but few has contributed a lot to human development, people can communicate to friends and family members.

In the same vein this development has done a lot of harm to this generation and can always be controlled not to harm generations to come.

The various platforms for communication is like a community where people "live" together but the fact is that this is more than a society because it is where people project their conceptions and perceptions to the world.

Many people choose to live fake lives on social media, and then many ill businesses have been detected. Yahoo and other illegal works on different platforms of social media. Some send their nude pictures to friends and the world to see, though i don't know much about them.

Moreover, humans are self driven and free most of the times in their choice making. I must state that though they may be free but in a situation whereby it affects others then it is inappropriate. Children of underage also go to some of these platforms to see porn movies and other indecent files which has led to so may illness in the ways of raising kids in many homes. In this era children get access to all these since they are not difficult to access.

Furthermore there has been high records of rape, murder, and lots of university drop outs and children having the experience of what sex is before getting to the age of maturity, though other factors contribute.

This should be controlled in our different societies and the world at large and can be done by governments, families, academic institutions, non governmental institutions, and for those who are religious, religious institutions should serve too, which may be micro or macro.

I believe there could be a positive change or changes as the case may be on the issue discussed above.
