It's official, Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro has a headphone issue

hinese smartphone maker Xiaomi's recent launch, the Redmi Note 5 Pro, has been selling like hotcakes as the handset goes out of stock within minutes of going on sale.
However, it seems like the popular handset is already facing issues. Several users have been reporting on Mi community forum that that the volume levels of the smartphone while using headphones is severely low. As per the users' posts, the volume level is satisfactory through the speaker.
The issue has been reported by several users over a week, the Indian smartphone leader has now acknowledged the issue and confirmed to GadgetsNow that an update is on its way to fix this particular bug. Xiaomi said, "We received feedback from Redmi Note 5 Pro users about the audio output via the 3.5mm jack. We have addressed the issue and users are already starting to see an OTA (MIUI V9.2.5.0) update which fixes the issue.”
To recall, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro was launched in India on February 14 along with the Xiaomi Redmi 5 and the Xiaomi Mi TV 4.
The Redmi Note 5 Pro is an India first handset and is going to hit other markets soon. Available in two RAM variants, the base model has 4GB RAM and the other variant has 6GB RAM and cost Rs 13,999 and 16,999 respectively.

In terms of specs, the Redmi Note 5 Pro has a 5.99-inch full HD+ display with 1080x2160 pixel resolution and 18:9 aspect ratio. It runs Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 processor and offers 64GB internal storage. For imaging duties, there is a dual rear camera setup of 12MP and 5MP sensors with LED flash and a 20MP selfie camera with beautify 4.0 face unlock feature support.
The smartphone is also backed by a 4000mAh battery and offers 4G, VoLTE, 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS as connectivity options
