Xiaomi Mi Max and Mi Note: goodbye to two "historical" series
The smartphone industry is evolving and it is sometimes essential to say "farewell" even if there are good products. That's what occurred with two very famous and valued product series: Xiaomi Mi Max and Xiaomi Mi Note, the company's CEO to confirm it.
Despite the awards received, excellent reviews and recognition from customers, it could only alter something in Xiaomi's strategy with the advent of the fresh Redmi sub-brand. Therefore, Lei Jun (CEO of Xiaomi) wished to shed light on a Weibo post describing how the brand's future will be.
According to reports, no other Xiaomi Mi Max and Xiaomi Mi Note models will be available this year. Obviously it is not excluded that in the future, maybe even under Redmi, but certainly not in the coming months, these brands can be "revived."
In reality, the Mi line will be intended for high-end products with the finest design and technology. Redmi will concentrate on the outstanding price / quality ratio with all the vital characteristics but on those with a tight budget. In the future, a line called Xiaomi CC will also appear, devoted to smartphones with top-of - the-range cameras instead.
Naturally, consumers might miss the Mi Max series in particular, which aimed at giving an above-average autonomy (losing something in performance). On the other side, the Mi Note line resides within the newly announced Redmi (both Note and K) and which consumers seem satisfied with.
