Picture-in-picture is finally coming to YouTube for iOS users
it's finally on its way. Users of YouTube's free app on iOS will be able to watch videos in the background — sort of.
It comes in the form of a picture-in-picture (PIP) feature, where A PIP feature allows you to exit the YouTube app and still continue playing your video in a smaller window. This is different from the previous minimize feature, where users can make their current video play on a smaller screen while they are browsing within the YouTube app.
There is, of course, a catch. According to MacRumors, the PIP feature will first be available to Premium subscribers (it is currently being rolled out). However, YouTube promises that the feature will be available to all users, paying or not, sometime soon. Continue https://www.technologyelevation.com/2021/06/pip-feature-is-finally-coming-to.html
