Lytes Cary Manor

I came down to Glastobbury On my way through to Devon to see family. I normally look forward to this trip but this time I actually realised I’m a bit bored of Glastonbury maybe the energy changed or I changed or I just went too many times but the energy just felt a bit off. Even the spring was out of order after I had taken all my five litre glass bottles with me!!

There was a medieval fate on thought so maybe that had something to do with it, it was just very busy and Glastonbury is too small to really handle busy well. I jumped in my car the next day and headed down to a national trust property called Lytes Cary Manor which, was at one point owned by a keen botanist and herbalist so had some beautiful gardens. The weather has been really poor here this spring but was nice to get a few hours of sunshine break through.
