When and why is International Nurses Day celebrated?

Who is a nurse? If I may ask!
I want to view the concept of the nurse as someone who treats and takes care of sick people.

International Nurses Day is celebrated on the 12 of May every year to commemorate the birth of Florence Nightingale the founder of
modern nursing.

I feel that International Nurses Day is celebrated to appreciate their efforts in treating and caring for the sick.

To me, whoever is fighting your enemy is a good friend, and nurses do that because I feel the enemy of humans is sickness, and a nurse always takes the pain in fighting it if one feels sick. That's why I feel nurses should be celebrated.1

What do you think about the nurse in your heart?

I think a nurse is someone like my parents, especially my mother. One's parents/mother takes the pain of providing the child's necessary needs, so also a nurse will attend to your needs, i.e. sickness.

I feel a nurse is someone who should not be provoked for whatever reason because of the caring role.

I feel nurses should be appreciated with gifts often. Comes rain comes sun they are there any case of sickness.

If you get a chance to serve the community as a nurse in a situation like Covid-19, would you do it?

COVID-19 is highly contagious respiratory illness caused by SARS - cov - 2 virus. It can be transmit through body contact, and social distances were observed during that time, that action affected the economy of some affected countries.

Yes, of course, if I get a chance to serve my community as a nurse during that period I will do it to the best of my ability to save lives, because best in my profession as a nurse I will make the sacrifice.

Have you ever taken health care from a nurse in a hospital? If so, how was your experience?

Yes, I did.
When I went to the hospital sometimes to take medication, the nurse that attended to me welcomed me and said. "how are you doing?" And I replied I am not feeling okay, and he said,you will okay now.

After telling him my problems, he developed some sense of pity on me and told me that it would be over, and so should not be disturbed.

He examined me and prescribed some drugs for me to take and kept calling me to find out the development and giving me hope that it would be well with me.
