It is another beautiful day and another great opportunity to be here to participate in this interesting contest hosted by my boss @saintkelvin17.

While I was scrolling through steemit platform, I came across this interesting contest and I decided that I must be a participant of it.

Without any further ado, I will be dropping my participation to this contest

WHAT DO YOU UNDERSTAND BY THE WORD FATHER

The word father can be explained in simple terms to mean a male parent, a man who owns a child.

And in a broader sense, we can say that a father is a paternal figure or a male who is in charge of playing a fatherly role to others.

Role such as providing food, shelter, clothing and also giving meaningful advice as at when due.

And the word father can be applied in different contexts, for example.

A biological father, this is a male parent whose sperm fertilises an egg to produce an offspring.

An adoptive father can be explained to be a male who has legally adopted a child, that is, he has become a father to the child legally by adoption.

We also have a spiritual father and a step father and they all have different meanings.

My Dad is a very hardworking man, he is dark in complexion and considerably tall.

My Dad is also a spiritual man and has high moral standards, he is always supporting the good and detesting bad things.

My Dad loves his family so much and he works very hard to provide for them, he makes sure he fulfils his role as a father and satisfy the immediate needs of the family.

My Dad is a 6-8 worker, this means he goes to work as early as 6am am and returns home tired as late as 8pm, this is the little I can share about my Dad.

DO YOU STILL WANT HIM TO BE YOUR DAD IF THERE'S A NEXT WORLD AND WHY?

In a million lifetime, yes, I'd love him to be and remain my Dad.

One reason is that he is very caring, I love the way he cares for everyone and speaks to us with respect.

I have not seen anyone as considerate as my Dad, he always knows what to do and how to do it.

Also my Dad is very prayerful, this is another great quality I learnt from him.
Hw does not try to solve problems on his own, he knees down and pray before thinking of solving any problems that comes his way.
And that Is another quality I wish to imitate.

And in the world we live in today, it is very difficult to come across a generous man, I can boldly tell you that my Dad is a very generous man.

He gives always, he is always willing to help those in need, and this is one quality that is difficult to find in our world today.

TELL US ABOUT THE BEST ADVICE YOU HAVE RECEIVED FROM YOUR FATHER OR SOMEONE'S FATHER.

I have received so many advices from my father that later turned to be good for me.

One of the advices I received from my Dad that I cherished the most was the advice he gave me when I gained admission into the tertiary institution.

First of all, he shared his experience with me of how he survived the tertiary institution, how he read, avoided bad friends and many other things.

And then, he began giving me words of advice, telling me what to do and what not to do.

He also reminded me not to forget God in my tertiary days, that whenever I feel tired and confused, I can always run to God for direction..

And this advice has really been helpful to me and it has guided me to avoid problems or complications in my tertiary institution.

It has helped me to acquire good grades and make very good friends that are hardworking and God-fearing.

This is a very interesting contest that have given me the opportunity to tell about my Dad and some of his great qualities I admire.

I am very happy to have participated in this contest and I intend to participate in more contest hosted by this hardworking moderator.
