My 6-year-old sister is learning to spell English words, and I'm 8-year- old boy, working on some math. Our mom, who works at a nearby government office, checks on us now and then to make sure we're studying. We like to play outside with mud and water, but we aren't allowed to. When Mom comes back, we'll have to remember what we learned today.

It feels great today to meet all my friends on Steemit. Today I want to share my happiness with all my friends, because today is a very special day for me, because today is my 28th birthday. And this morning I received a birthday cake as a gift from my beloved husband.

My yesterday 17th May, 2024 started with a beautiful sunshine that was so harsh to the point that my solar double it's charging speed. However, that wasn't a bad observation at all..., especially now that I needed the sun more if you know what I mean. My itinerary for yesterday wasn't a complex one, but I know it was going to be a stressful day.

Much has been said and written about The Shawshank Redemption (1994) over the years – after all, the film is widely seen as the greatest one ever made. As I have shared before, I often revisit films I love because they comfort me, and yesterday it was time to rewatch TSR. I am happy to report that Stephen King and Frank Darabont’s ode to The Count of Monte Cristo hasn’t lost any of its glory, and had me mesmerized again from the very first frame.

There were several participants who were able to guess the image that I published. I deliberately did not hide the details of the image in this contest because this was my first participation.
