1 IN those days Hezekiah was sick and near death. AND Isaiah the prophet, the son of Amoz, went to him and said to him, “THUS says the LORD: ‘SET your house in order, FOR you shall die and not live.’”
2 THEN Hezekiah turned his FACE toward the WALL, AND PRAYED TO THE LORD,
3 AND SAID, “REMEMBER NOW, O LORD, I PRAY, HOW I HAVE WALKED BEFORE YOU IN TRUTH AND WITH A LOYAL HEART AND HAVE DONE WHAT IS GOOD IN YOUR SIGHT.” AND HEZEKIAH WEPT BITTERLY."
Isaiah 38:1-3 (NKJV)

"FOR the EYES of the LORD RUN to and fro throughout the WHOLE EARTH, TO SHOW HIMSELF STRONG ON BEHALF OF THOSE WHOSE HEART IS LOYAL TO HIM. In this you have done foolishly, therefore from now on you shall have wars.”
2 Chronicles 16:9

• Integrity is the quality of being honest and upright in character.

  • Integrity is about being straightforward in whatever you do. And not about being dishonest and telling lies: "BUT the LORD said to Samuel, “Don’t judge by his appearance or height, for I have rejected him. THE LORD DOESN'T SEE THINGS THE WAY YOU SEE THEM. PEOPLE JUDGE BY OUTWARD APPEARANCE, BUT THE LORD LOOKS AT THE HEART” (1 Samuel 16:7 NLT).
  • God relates with every Believer on the basis of their heart conditions. God speared King Abimelech of Gerah from death, because of the integrity of his heart.
ABRAHAM told Abimelech that Sarah was his sister and Abimelech took her to be his wife. BUT God appeared to him in the dream to warn him, and instructed him to return Sarah back to Abraham:
"DID HE [Abraham] not say to ME [Abimelech], 'She is my sister'? And she, even she herself said, 'He is my brother.' IN THE INTEGRITY OF MY HEART AND INNOCENCE OF MY HANDS I HAVE DONE THIS" (Genesis 20:25 NKJV).
  • God would have loved to bless and lift many, but their hearts are not right with Him. God does not look at the outward appearances, but the hearts (1 Samuel 16:6,7).
  • God told Prophet Samuel that Eliab's heart was not right that Samuel should not be carried away with his outward appearance (Samuel 16:6,7).
  • Some will look gentle, pious, And sanctimonious, but they are deadly inwardly—on their inside.
  • God revealed the heart condition of Eliab, David's elder brother, that he was an envious person.
  • When David wanted to make an attempt of fighting Goliath, he was furious about it. Not that he cares for David, but he would not want David to do that, since he and other armies of Israel could not handle the Man, why would David conceive the idea of confronting the Man—Goliath:
"BUT when David’s oldest brother, Eliab, heard David talking to the men, HE WAS ANGRY. “WHAT ARE YOU DOING AROUND HERE ANYWAY?” HE DEMANDED. “WHAT about those few sheep you’re supposed to be taking CARE OF? I KNOW ABOUT YOUR PRIDE AND DECEIT. YOU JUST WANT TO SEE THE BATTLE!” (1 Samuel 17:28 NLT).
  • Eliab was angry that David came to the warfront in the first place. Whereas it was their father, Jesse, who sent David (1 Samuel 17:17,18).
  • Eliab did not know that David's coming to the warfront was divinely arranged by God: "AND David said, WHAT HAVE I DONE NOW? IS THERE NOT A CAUSE [Is there not a reason for my coming? Has God not pre-planned it? Did God not know about it?]" (1 Samuel 17:29 KJV paraphrased).

• If I may ask: Are you happy with other people's success?

  • If someone is succeeding around you, are you happy with the person?
  • Are you not sad because of your friend's progress?
"FOR the eyes of the LORD run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to show Himself strong on behalf of THOSE WHOSE HEART IS LOYAL TO HIM...” (2 Chronicles 16:9).
  • Your heart condition determines your lifting. God will not bless or lift a person with a wrong heart.
  • If your heart is not right towards other people, you are indirectly undoing yourself.

• Check your heart!

  • If you used your position or influence to hinder a person's Blessings, whether it was KNOWN to the person or NOT, God sees your heart and knows what you had done.
  • Such an act would stand against your Blessings and promotions before God. Whatever you sow you will surely reap (Galatians 6:7).
  • You will reap it one Day, when you had probably forgotten about it. You may not know it was the seed you had sown in the past that caused the predicament you found yourself.

• Motives

  • You may be wrong in your head, If, however, your heart was right, God will help you.
  • If your motivations are all about what you will get or gain on whatever you are doing in the house of God, your reward may be a mirage, and farfetched.
  • Those whose motives are wrong usually experience delay in receiving answers to their prayers.

• A woman
I was praying with a woman on her work, and nothing happened for many months. I was worried and could not understand why God had not answered.
Asking God, He said He was working on it. When the woman got a little breakthrough, it was then I saw clearly why God had to delay the answer to the woman's prayer. I discovered she was not matured enough for God's Blessings which we had been praying and asking for, truly.

• Your rebellion and lack of integrity of heart would short-circuit the move of God in your life.

  • Always know that God sees your heart in all your dealings, in whatever you do, with every person.
  • If your heart is not right, God knows. Thus, work on your heart that your Blessings might not be delayed and hindered.

• You will not fail in Jesus' name.

  • Whatever is against your health, causing you to groan, such is rebuked and rooted up in Jesus' name.
  • Living health is a covenant right of every believer in Christ Jesus, thus, sicknesses would no longer be your lot in Jesus' name.
    Peace!
