We all live ups and downs, difficult times and uncertainty, God knows everything that goes through our minds and hearts, he knows what will do us good and we can fully trust him.
Before they fell asleep, she went up to the roof, and said to them: 9 I know that the Lord has given you this land; for the fear of you has fallen on us, and all the inhabitants of the land have already fainted because of you. 10 For we have heard how the Lord dried up the waters of the Red Sea before you when you came out of Egypt, and what you did to the two kings of the Amorites who were beyond the Jordan, to Sihon and Og, to whom you destroyed. 11 Hearing this, he has made our heart faint; nor is there any more breath left in any man because of you, for the Lord your God is God in heaven above and in the earth beneath. 12 Now, therefore, I beseech you to swear to me by the Lord, that as I have shown mercy to you, so you will do to my father's house, of which you will give me a sure sign; 13 and that you will save the lives of my father and my mother, my brothers and sisters, and all that is theirs; and that you will free our lives from death.

We remember those two spies from Israel who arrived in Jericho and were received by a woman, this was a surprise for them, this woman was from the genealogy of Jesus. Rahab is clearly described as a prostitute, surprisingly this woman is from the direct genealogy of Jesus.
The house of "The Prostitute" was the best place, a place where these spies could hide and stay safe. The King, upon learning this, demanded that Rahab hand them over but she simply did not do it, she saved to the spies.
Imagine the problem or consequences that Rahab would face for this decision, she thought about the family and she also kept God in mind.
11 Hearing this, she has made our hearts faint; nor is there any more breath left in any man because of you, for the Lord your God is God in heaven above and on earth beneath.

Rahab asked the spies to protect her and her family in exchange for their protection, later in the face of Israel's triumph over Jericho, in this way it was done, Rahab's family had been forgiven and later Israel It was the home of her and her family, she married Solomon and gave birth to Boaz.
25 But Joshua saved the life of Rahab the harlot, and her father's house, and all that she had; and she dwelt among the Israelites until this day, because she hid the messengers whom Joshua had sent to spy out Jericho.

Rahab is a clear example of complete trust in God allowing God to completely change her situation, her future, Rahab has redefined the interpretation about her enemies. Are we also willing to compromise in the same way as Rahab? We have the same possibilities as her, today we can entrust our lives and that of our family to God.

Todos vivimos altibajos, momentos difíciles y de incertidumbre, Dios conoce todo lo que pasa por nuestra mente y nuestros corazones, sabe lo que nos hará bien y podemos confiar plenamente en él.
Antes que ellos se durmiesen, ella subió al terrado, y les dijo: 9 Sé que Jehová os ha dado esta tierra; porque el temor de vosotros ha caído sobre nosotros, y todos los moradores del país ya han desmayado por causa de vosotros. 10 Porque hemos oído que Jehová hizo secar las aguas del Mar Rojo delante de vosotros cuando salisteis de Egipto, y lo que habéis hecho a los dos reyes de los amorreos que estaban al otro lado del Jordán, a Sehón y a Og, a los cuales habéis destruido. 11 Oyendo esto, ha desmayado nuestro corazón; ni ha quedado más aliento en hombre alguno por causa de vosotros, porque Jehová vuestro Dios es Dios arriba en los cielos y abajo en la tierra. 12 Os ruego pues, ahora, que me juréis por Jehová, que como he hecho misericordia con vosotros, así la haréis vosotros con la casa de mi padre, de lo cual me daréis una señal segura; 13 y que salvaréis la vida a mi padre y a mi madre, a mis hermanos y hermanas, y a todo lo que es suyo; y que libraréis nuestras vidas de la muerte.

Recordamos esos dos espías de Israel que llegaron a Jericó y fueron recibidos por una mujer, esto ha sido una sorpresa para ellos, esta mujer era de la genealogía de Jesús. Rahab es descrita de manera clara como una prostituta, sorprendentemente esta mujer es de la genealogía directa de Jesús.
En la casa de "La prostituta" era el mejor lugar, lugar donde estos espías podrían ocultarse y mantenerse a salvo, El Rey al enterarse de esto le exigió a Rahab que los entregase pero ella simplemente no lo hizo, salvó a los espías.
Imagínese el problema o las consecuencias que Rahab enfrentaría por esta decisión, ella pensó en la familia y también tuvo presente a Dios.
11 Oyendo esto, ha desmayado nuestro corazón; ni ha quedado más aliento en hombre alguno por causa de vosotros, porque Jehová vuestro Dios es Dios arriba en los cielos y abajo en la tierra.
Josué 2:11
Rahab pidió a los espías que a cambia de su protección, posteriormente ante el triunfo de Israel sobre Jericó le protegieran a ella y su familia, de esta manera fue hecho, la familia de Rahab había sido perdonada y mas tarde Israel fue el hogar de ella y su familia, se casó con Salomón dando a luz a Booz.
25 Mas Josué salvó la vida a Rahab la ramera, y a la casa de su padre, y a todo lo que ella tenía; y habitó ella entre los israelitas hasta hoy, por cuanto escondió a los mensajeros que Josué había enviado a reconocer a Jericó.
