Podemos consolar a los afligidos como lo hizo Jesus. || We can comfort the afflicted as Jesus did.

Let's help and console those afflicted around us, let's do the same as Jesus.
When Uriah's wife heard that her husband Uriah was dead, she mourned for her husband. 27 And when she had mourned, she sent David for her and brought her to her house; and she became his wife, and she bore him a son. But this thing that David had done was displeasing in the sight of the Lord.
2 Samuel 11:26-27
We remember the women of the Genealogy of Jesus, Tamar and Rahab, they were women with a marked reputation. We also have the description of a woman called Bathsheba who by some is classified as the seductress although according to the context she was a victim of David After discovering her pregnancy, she was brought before the King and threatened with death for adultery. It is a tragic picture in which David, trying to cover up his sin, manipulated Bathsheba's husband and since he did not obtain the desired result, David simply had Uriah killed.
After all this Bathsheba was left a widow, but with grief as she mourned her dead husband and after this David took her as his wife, she later gave birth to the son but that joy would not last for long, her son fell ill and died shortly after. The widow was grieving the death of her husband and that of a son.
14 But because by this matter you have caused the enemies of Jehovah to blaspheme, the son that is born to you will surely die.
2 Samuel 12:14
This story may be similar to someone we know, someone in our environment, there are parents, husbands or wives afflicted by similar situations and we are there to give them support, we have the Lord's example and model of how to provide help in these cases.
The bruised reed will not break,
And the smoking flax will not quench,
Until I win the trial.
Matthew 12:20
We can be hosts for this type of people who need help, need support, we can be a safe haven for those who need it and we collaborate in their restoration.

Ayudemos y consolemos a aquellos afligidos que están a nuestro rededor, hagamos lo mismo que Jesús.
Oyendo la mujer de Urías que su marido Urías era muerto, hizo duelo por su marido. 27 Y pasado el luto, envió David y la trajo a su casa; y fue ella su mujer, y le dio a luz un hijo. Mas esto que David había hecho, fue desagradable ante los ojos de Jehová.
2 Samuel 11:26-27
Recordamos las mujeres de la Genealogía de Jesús, Tamar y Rahab, eran mujeres con una reputación marcada, También tenemos la descripción de una mujer llamada Betsabé que por algunos es catalogada como la seductora aunque según el contexto fue víctima de David, después de descubrir su embarazo fué llevada ante el Rey y propensa a la muerte por adulterio. Es un cuadro trágico en el que David por intentar cubrir su pecado manipuló al esposo de Betsabé y como no obtuvo el resultado deseado, simplemente David mandó a matar a Urías.
Después de todo esto Betsabé quedó viuda, pero con aflicción ya que hizo duelo por su marido muerto y después de esto David la tomó como esposa, posteriormente dió a luz el hijo pero esa alegría no perduraría por mucho tiempo, su hijo enfermó y murió al poco tiempo, La viuda estaba lamentando la muerte de su marido y la de un hijo.
14 Mas por cuanto con este asunto hiciste blasfemar a los enemigos de Jehová, el hijo que te ha nacido ciertamente morirá.
2 Samuel 12:14
Esta historia quizás se asemeja a alguien que conocemos, alguien de nuestro entorno, hay padres, esposos o esposas afligidas por situaciones similares y allí estamos nosotros para darles apoyo, tenemos el ejemplo y modelo del Señor de como brindar ayuda en estos casos.
La caña cascada no quebrará,
Y el pábilo que humea no apagará,
Hasta que saque a victoria el juicio.
