Good day Steemian and welcome, this is more than just a price update on the Steem cryptocurrency for 15/5/2024, under the hood it's been a 7 year project.
I have been posting the Steem price update since almost the very beginning of Steemit.com back in 2016 along with other content, plus I have attended many Steem official events and represented Steem at smaller events.
Many have came here to discuss the daily Steem price and recent Steemit changes for over 7 years.

There also as never been a single power down made on this account since that time "7 years", our mission is to retain and rise the price of Steem for the benefit of us all. We do this by not only holding STEEM but by also buying into STEEM from time to time. All this rises the price of STEEM meaning your investment goes up in value and so does your earning rewards.

I'm sure we all want a better future for Steem and so casting your upvote here keeps Steem locked to raise it's value for us all. Most of the players in the crypto sphere are only here for some quick and shady profits before they just decide to get up and disappear but we have been here for the long run and would like to see Steem remained a strong and reliable token.

If you tire of addictively looking at the charts every few minutes then instead just relax and look here for the average STEEM price for your daily plan or strategy.

May 2024-Bitcoin reached over "70.000" again on March 25th and so the high season isn't done just yet thankfully. We had yet another fall from Bitcoin and likely you have witnessed recently some of the many bearish traps for investors to try and navigate. So who knows when the bullrun will be truly over, I mention bitcoin because it can be a indication on the direction that Steem will follow. However not a lot of movement from our own token this time round compared to previous years which is very sad. Perhaps we have to be more patient, others would argue that it almost doubled since it's bottom, and so while that was something to celebrate Steem as done much better in the past. However that does mean that Steem itself is essentially still wide open price wise for the smart and smaller investors. Last night I went to sleep just before the usual late hour, good but I still wanted to go a little earlier, this was mostly due to doing some map drawing. When I did go to rest it took me slightly longer to fall asleep which I think was due to a busy mind however I will admit I started to feel a little cold which I did expect to happen at night. When I did fall asleep I woke-up about 1 hour before my scheduled alarm, thought about starting the day but I went back to sleep without issue. I woke-up to the alarm and started to rest past it but my cat started knocking at my door and so I got up. The alarm was already set for later than usual as I wanted to make sure I get enough sleep. As for the weather this morning it's brighter than yesterday but still continues with it's dark theme from 3 days ago, yup it's another dark start to the day. While it did rain last night I think there is a higher chance this will clear later but at least it remains warm. It was a late start to the day but luckily no work until later giving me the chance to get a few basic chores done before having to leave. Once my free time was up before leaving I had a quick small breakfast and changed for work. On the way to work I took the trash with me to dispose, dam bin was full again so I hope they clear it soon, it was getting warmer as I made my way with the sun starting to come out more. Arriving to work one of the superiors took me aside right away which had me worried, she started talking about the extra work this made me start to think it was going to be my responsibility for the day. Luckily this was not the case and everything was good except it was going to only be ready much later and so they needed me to stay longer and that for me was not a problem. However I did worry that if we didn't get enough done I would need to return tomorrow at 7 in the morning to get the job completed. But there was talks that because of the situation this may only be a problem for Friday. Well in the end there was extra staff in and they were all assigned to our team, when it got to the point of only having 1 hour left we still had a lot to do, but somehow we managed to get it done with still nearly 30 mins left. The new guy who I assumed was from another site and had been transferred to ours, but I found out he is training at ours to be a superior for another site. The guy who normally deals with extra work was again doing training so that another colleague can set it for us, yes and in the next few weeks he will train another colleague to do it. That will be the one who said that I wasn't being very encouraging or supportive enough of him. Well unlike the others I can't help but speak the truth it's not him it's the work itself. I didn't see my colleague from the other day who was having a real tough time as he mentioned that everybody shouts at him rather than speaks to him both the superiors and colleagues alike. I know the feeling "been there" but I guess I can understand why, as I do feel he can sometimes easily mis-understand what he is being told. I was glad when the shift was over as I started to develop a headache, either the heat or perhaps I didn't drink enough. It was only when half way home that I realised the time and how it was still bright out, when I got home I missed the online session with friends and went for dinner soon after as I wasn't going to get any chores done. I still got to update one more friend that I wont be going at all to the event but he is already set for the event and so there's no rush. I'm very annoyed with work for not giving me the time off but I don't like that kind of thing getting to me and so I'm brushing it off and moving on. I know that's what the overlords want you to do anyway because they don't care, as work always comes first but I'm doing it for myself. As for Steemit.com there as been talks about doing PR for the site which as all been done before and while in one way adding more people could help the value of Steem I believe it would be better to try and educate those who are already with us. And I don't mean education on creating content but rather on how the site and the token is valued "again not by it's content" but instead by holding Steem, buying etc. Others are working on updating the look of the Steemit.com website to something more "modern" I was very worried about this but the changes aren't anything drastic. They have got to the point of having alpha testers. What I would like to see is just easier excess to all parts of the website. Sometimes I feel have to be too much on the right page to get to where I want to go.. if that makes sense. Onwards there as been mostly promises of war happening everywhere, more countries are slowly getting and warning their citizens to prepare for war. Such a war in this day and age will be devastating and so we must continue to work to remain at peace and not fight in wars that don't belong to us. Before we finish I would like to ask if anybody can recommend any website to watch movies or series for free without a VPN, a upvote will be sent if it's good.
