“Steem Cameroon Best Day Contest - 25/12/24”.

Hello my friends on Steemit. Merry Christmas to we all and I am wishing us a Happy New Year in advance. I’m very much excited to he here again, sharing with you all about my best day of the week and thanks to the entire community for giving us the opportunity to share with each other our best days of the week.

My best day of the week is today, Wednesday, 25/12/24 which happens to be the Christmas Day. I’ve been looking forward to this day. It’s nothing serious and not even about the food I’d get from various people but it’s about rest. I won’t have to do anything or even go to work and I feel for an adult, a holiday is usually their best days because the brain also needs rest.

I woke up quite late today since I didn’t have anything to do. Immediately I woke up, I was trying to clean the whole house before stepping out to see my friends or do other things.
While cleaning the house, I heard someone knock on the gate. Who’s that?, I asked and it was my neighbor.
Yo my surprise, she brought a big plate of Nigerian Jollof Rice for us. I was really happy because I’ve eaten their food before and she knows how to cook so well.

We didn’t even wait for five minutes before we started eating the food. My mum, brother and I had to eat from the same plate. We finished it right there. Due to that, we didn’t bother to make breakfast anymore since we had eaten already.

After that time, a customer called my mum that she needs to buy some goods. I got to the shop and waited an extra hour before the woman showed up. When I got bored, I started playing some songs to make me cool.

That’s my favorite song at the moment and I’d love if you can listen to it too. That’s my Christmas gift from me to you.

After then, I went to my friends place where we chatted for over a hour. We were just talking about the male gender. Men are scum, that’s a regular slang here in Nigeria and that’s what we said today too.
My friend entertained me well and we even chatted with her mum while she gave us some relationship tips that she knows as well.
While chatting with my friend, my best friend sent her family picture to me which I posted on WhatsApp and I can’t wait to have my family as well

Then, this night. My friend gave me Semo and Egusi soup. I took a picture of the Egusi soup to share with you all.

Today is my best day of the week because it is a stress free day as I didn’t work. Also, it is my best day of the week because I got so much food from people and I didn’t have to cook.
