前回登場してもらったシロフクロウさんは今回は暑さの為お休みでした。
The snowy owl that I had last time appeared was a holiday this time because of the heat.
ワシミミズクさんは元気に出勤してくれていました。
Eurasian Eagle Owl cheerfully appeared in the zoo.
アップで撮影。なかなかの美形さんです。

そして帰宅していろいろ調べているうちに分かったのですが、フクロウとミミズクの違いは…

誤）耳（正確には羽角）の有無
正）違いは無い
でした。
Mistake) Presence or absence of ears
Correct) There is no difference
「シマフクロウ」「ウサギフクロウ」は耳があってもフクロウなんですよね。
逆に「アオバズク」には耳が無いという…
"Blakiston's fish owl" and "Striped Owl" are owls even when there are ears.
On the other hand, "Brown hawk owl" has no ears ...
また1つ勉強になりました。
