The Diary Game ||Sunday, 5th may 2024|| I've been pondering of this day

It's a spiritual reflection and worship day, a day for recreational and leisure activities after six days of stress, a day to spend time with family and loved ones, it's Sunday, a day I've been pondering of. Why the ponder? It's always a privilege to be taught by God, share in joy with friends and recharge for the week ahead. That's just a glimpse of the activities i took part in, now let's get to the full details.

The sound of our old Generator woke me up by 6am when dad was trying to pump water and refill our tank. I tried ignoring the sound and get back to sleep, but mom kicked me by the leg and ordered everyone to report at the farm with immediate effect. The present economy of my country has really dealth with me so i won't hesitate to help at the farm. I quickly stood up, wash my face and brush my mouth with clean water then took my working tools to the farm as instructed.

We already planted cassava here, but due to the heat, most of them couldn't grow properly, so we were to replant in those empty spaces. My own part was to use the shovel and dig a hole for the cassava stem and also clear some unwanted plants using a hoe. I played the new music by Nasboi on my phone and that ease me during the farm work. After completing my own task, I had to help my parents put the cassava stem into the soil and cover it properly for good germination, while they're getting rid of the unwanted plants.

All the empty spaces where cassava didn't grow due to heat were filled, so i left my parents at the farm to prepare for spiritual reflection. Our house is not far from our farmland, so it took me just 10 minutes to arrive home. On reaching the house, i took my bath and arranged my outfit for ironing not until i called my dry cleaner and he told me he's not open for the day. I was frustrated and disappointed, so i had to change what i had in mind to wear which was shirt and trouser to senator.
I was set and ready for meeting, so i left the house without waiting for my parents because waiting for them would label me a late comer. On reaching the kingdom hall, i checked the generator if there's enough fuel that will take us through the meeting, it wasn't up to a litre after gauging, so i quickly run to the nearby petrol station to buy fuel of 1,500 Naira (4.2 steem).

Meeting started exactly 10:30am after the generator was on and the sound system check was completed. Audience sat down like a single soul and benefitted from the spiritual meal prepared by God Himself. I learnt a lot especially during Watchtower study conducted by my dad. Jehovah really love us, and he uses men on earth to show us the right path we should take and it's the only path that'll lead to everlasting life. I learnt that i should listen to our elders in the congregation and follow their guidelines because the direction is from above not theirs.
The meeting ended by 11:55pm with a closing song, we all stood up on our feet to give Jehovah all the praise for his wonderful teachings of the day. After the closing song and prayer, we had some time to chat with our brothers and sisters, announcement were made and preparation for field service was conducted by @crystal247. It was already 12:00pm in the afternoon when i got a call from my client.
He called regarding our proposed project. I was to develop a 5 self-contained design for him, so i was asked to take the overall dimension of the plot and start my architectural drawing with immediate effect. @crystal247 was with my measurement tape, so i had to wait for him so he could bring me the tape from his house which is not far from the site. I arrived the site with my friend and the dimensions were taken accurately.

The heat from the sun was so intensed, so i took a bike down to the house. On reaching the house, i turn on the shower and take a cool bath, eat and get into a deep sleep.

The spiritual reflection and worship was over, it's now time to prepare for recreational and leisure activities. It's been a while i sit down with friends to catch some fun, so we arranged with our Christian brothers to meet at our elder's compound for the leisure activity.

I was assigned to take care of the edible consumption. So after getting up from bed, i took my bath and went to the junction where chicken are sold to buy 2 chickens for the small gathering that's to be held in the evening. I bargained on the price and it was finally sold at the rate of 4,500 naira each (12.5 steem). I left the spot to a palmwine joint, and i bought 20 litres of plamwine which was 7,000 naira (19.5 steem).
Everything i bought was taken to the venue, the chickens were slaughtered and prepared by me. While my friends helped in turning the palmwine into a jar and mixing it with Nescafe to give the real taste of natural palmwine.

It was indeed a leisure time to have fun, i ate the peppersoup, drank the plamwine, gist a lot and dance out the Stress I've been through. I was happy to have this recreational activities with steemians in person of @kidi40 @crystal247 and @jewel005. The main reason I've been pondering of this day is because of the evening session. It all ended smoothly when we exchange greetings and depart to our humble abode. This is my diary📑.
