Story

The next morning, Tina woke up earlier than the sunlight has hit the curtains. The house was still enfolded in darkness, there was silence than normal mornings, looks like the walls were holding breath. Cooked tea, and sat down on a chair in the kitchen with the warm cup rather on the dining table couch. She was staring at her mother's couch from the kitchen's door. Mother's absence hit very hard, reminded that the normal routines lived longer than current one.
Her father entered, gradually and carefully, nodded smile towards Tina. and asked; "At the crack of dawn". "I had a restless night," Tina replied calmly. He grabs a bottle of water from the fridge, "Your mother used to say waking up early is a refreshment for the body and the house breathes good," His voice shattered.

Sipping from the tea, "I couldn't forget," Tina whispered.

They did not talk too much, felt sorrow, broken and empty. At noon, Tina went to the garden near to their home, where her mother used to go with friends. The pink roses were still there, the scent touch Tina's heart. Tina inhaled the fragrance, sit down near the bushes, took a rose from the bush and starts removing its petal one after another. Mother's memory visualized in front of her; with every petal a drop of tear hit the ground. The petals scent felt as of her mother's.

As Tina stand up, look back, his younger brother Sam was behind her. Sam felt the emptiness of their world. Tina gave him the rose with petals; Sam grabbed the flower tightly. Tina holds his hand, went back towards their home.

Sam was mute, his breath couldn't be heard. After a while broke his silence, "I miss mom too much," he was crying. "We all miss her but it's God's Will, we can't do anything,". "We have to move on and remember our mother in prayers,". "We all are acting, but it's too difficult to move on," Sam shattered.

They reached home, "We don't to forget her but to feel her in our memories," Tina smiled. "Do you think, we have made our mother proud," Sam asked. "We tried our best, but mothers don't need our influence but loves their kids more than anything," Tina replied by hugging his brother.

During Dinner time, Tina has decorated the table with dishes, she cooked her mother's favorite dish. all of the three were sitting on the dinner table, it felt unfamiliar; it was like they were guests in their own home. look at each other face with smile, but the silence was there, something was still missing.

After cleaning up the table, Tina went to her mother's room. She doesn't feel the warmth, everything has faded, there were numerous memories. She sat beside bed, lean on the bed and covered her eyes with her hands, started crying. Under the bed, she a box. Opened it, found handwriting of her mother. It was a message from her mother.

  • The message contain:
Tina, my beloved daughter. I have not much time left, your father was aware of my condition but we don't want to tell you and your brother. I don't know how you both will live after me; I am worried more about you and Sam than my life. I don't know what to write, I know you can understand me; I love you both more than anything. I am leaving my memories behind with you people with you people. Your brother is younger than you, take care of yourself, don't fight with each other for my sake. Stay together and help each other. Lastly, stay close to your father and share your problems with him.

¡Holaaa amigo!🤗
