Countries that I wish I'll live in: (2)
Hi Traveling Steem, I'm Anas from Egypt. I'm back again today to share with you the second country that I'd love to live a lifetime in.
You might have never heard about it, but it's a country called Estonia
The Republic of Estonia, is a country by the Baltic Sea in Europe.[b] It is bordered to the north by the Gulf of Finland across from Finland, to the west by the sea across from Sweden, to the south by Latvia, and to the east by Lake Peipsi and Russia [Wikipedia]
What I love the most about Estonia is their use of technology in their daily life to make life much easier; the country has emerged as a global leader in digital governance and e-services, earning it the nickname "E-stonia".
You can apply for the e-residency program, which allows you to establish and manage a business in Estonia from anywhere in the world without having to be physically there, this initiative caused a lot of entrepreneurs and digital nomads to either start their business there from a different country or to even travel and live there, which fostered a startup ecosystem and helped set Estonia to become a hub for entrepreneurship and innovation.
I also love the design of their buildings, it seems to me like it's a very organized country, and the buildings reflect how old they are, it's like you traveled back in time to about 200 years ago or something.
Estonia is a relatively small country, it can be much smaller than some cities around the world.
The land has a total area of 45,340 km² (17,506 mi²) and a total coastline of 3,794 km (2,357.5 mi). This land area is approximately 180% of the area of Maryland. Estonia is thus the 24th smallest country in Europe and ranked 133rd in the world. More than half of all residents (70%) live within cities. WorldDataInfo%20live%20within%20cities)
Also, their usage of technology extends to their educational system; as technology plays a central role in preparing students for the digital economy, digital literacy is integrated into the curriculum from an early age, with students learning coding, robotics, and other essential digital skills.
-----------------------
Estonia is one of the hotspots for crypto companies in Europe and the popularity of cryptocurrency fits with Estonia's image as a tech success story.
I believe Estonia is a country headed to success, and they're focused on making tomorrow a better day, they try their best to have their own independent position between nations, for that it's a country I'd love to live in.
I'd love to hear your thoughts on Estonia, and whether or not you'd love to live there.
Now, I'm going to leave you with some other magnificent photos from Estonia.
