The first morning of the last autumn month is November 1, 2024. November is already considered a winter month in our region, and the first day proved it. The snow started at 5 a.m. At that time, I woke up, looked out the window, and saw that a hole had formed in the sky, through which the Snow Queen began to pour snow. Or it was Mrs. Metelitsa (German: Frau Holle) from the Brothers Grimm fairy tales, who shook her feather bed.
It snowed for 2 days. At first, it seemed that this was just temporary snow with rain, but now the snow cover is 10-15 cm.
November is forecast to be warmer than usual, but with more precipitation. Well, we'll wait and see.
