You all are welcome back to my blog. Today I am going to share with you the food I had throughout the day on January 30th. Every moment spent with different foods is very delicious. A yummy and healthy dish helps to refresh the mind and refresh the body. So I would like to thank you @steemit-ironchef community for organizing such a delicious contest for us every week.

It was a Friday. The last day of January (31) was the day I had my pharmacy exam. I know you all know how to spend the day before an exam. It was a really stressful day. But since I was updated with the subject matter throughout the day, I spent the day relaxing. Around 5 am, I had my first meal of the day. My mother brought me my favorite type of omelette bun. It cost about 80 Sri Lankan rupees. It had a perfect taste and was as delicious as its look.

The omelette bun was decorated with a lettuce leaf and a few pieces of onions in the middle. Also, the bun was opened on the side and the omelet was inside. The omelet bun was beautifully served and its cleanliness should be appreciated. My mother bought these from a bakery near the house. However, I enjoyed them very much. The sauce and omelet taste mixed with a plain tea mixed with ginger and sugar went well.

Again, I rejoined with the academics and spent a few hours with them. At around 11 am, I ate a fish bun with a cup of milk. The two tastes go well together and the curry with the fish bun is delicious. I often add a hot drink to the spicy taste. That means making a ginger tea or a cup of milk using hot water. Such teas can enhance the taste of the meal we eat.

I had lunch that day around 3 pm. I delayed lunch a bit because I was full of different foods. My mother had prepared rice, dhal, and fried-fish stew for lunch that day. The taste of the spicy lunch dish was perfect. The rice was made using turmeric and scraped coconut. That way, the rice curry and sprat-fish badum curry go well together. In addition, the taste of this curry combination when eaten with rice is difficult to describe in words. I like that local taste so much.
