The Holy Place #7 – At-Taqwa Mosque Kutacane: Under the Cover of Fog |

Di halaman depan Masjid At-Taqwa, Kutacane, Aceh Tenggara.
Kutacane, the capital of Southeast Aceh has many tourist destinations. Starting from Ketambe, the Leuser forest which is one of the lungs of the world, the beautiful Alas river, and religious tourism at At-Taqwa Mosque Kutacane which stands majestically in the middle of Kutacane City.
Kutacane City can be reached from Gayo Lues or Subulussalam City which are still located in Aceh Province. However, the trip from Subulussalam must pass through Dairi which is already part of North Sumatra Province.
The trip from Subulussalam to Kutacane, Southeast Aceh, can be reached in about 5.43 hours as far as 217 kilometers. Traveling from Subulussalam at night to Kutacane is not an attractive idea. The road conditions are much better now, but if you drive a motorbike at night, it is really unsafe because the roads are crowded with CPO tankers and the geographical conditions. Small roads with many sharp bends, steep uphill and downhill roads, and cliffs on the left and ravines on the right.
It is really dangerous if you are not careful.
The road in Dairi crosses beautiful residents' plantations. Unfortunately, at that time my group and I traveled at night so we couldn't take photos in the middle of the night because the vehicle speed was quite fast and the lighting was poor. The air along the way was cool like Takengon, Central Aceh. There are many corn, potato, and even strawberry plantations on the left and right of the road.
In Sidikalang, which is still in North Sumatra, people often take the wrong road, if not usually. There are no road signs at the intersection. It turns out that if you turn right, you go to Medan City. While if you turn left, you go to Southeast Aceh. It is better to ask the residents there if you are in doubt.
Traveling to areas that we have never visited before is now much easier with technology. As long as there is an internet connection, we can get complete information. What coordinates are we at, the name of the location, and the distance.
At night, At-Taqwa Mosque Kutacane looks very beautiful with colorful beautiful lights. Unfortunately, my group and I prayed Maghrib there when it was raining so we couldn't bring a camera.
From various sources, it is stated that the At-Taqwa Grand Mosque Kutacane has a motif that is a combination of typical Sikhat Alas carvings and the Kuba of the Turkiye Mosque. The front of the mosque is decorated with beautiful ornaments and is suitable as a background for group photos.
Inaugurated on April 8, 2016, the At-Taqwa Grand Mosque can accommodate 4,000 worshipers inside and 2,000 worshipers outside. Don't worry, the exterior of the mosque is very clean and beautiful.
The At-Taqwa Mosque is like being covered in white mist on its roof. From a distance, the white mist seems to cover the mosque, like a mosque built on a cloud.
With an area of 2,675 square meters and a land area of 12,230, the At-Taqwa Kutacane Grand Mosque has a very large parking area outside the area. Visitors don't need to bother looking for accommodation. Right next to the mosque, there is the Bru Dihe Hotel which can be an option. For culinary needs, there are around the hotel.[]

The Holy Place #7 – Masjid At-Taqwa Kutacane: Dalam Selimut Kabut
Kutacane, ibu kota Aceh Tenggara memiliki banyak destinasi wisata.
