Supporting Steem Atlas – A Project Close to My Heart 🗺️💛

Hello everyone! 😊
If you're passionate about travel, culture, or simply love discovering new corners of the world through real people’s eyes, then let me introduce you to a project you should definitely check out — Steem Atlas launched by the @pennsif.witness team.

Steem Atlas is an innovative platform built on the Steem blockchain that allows users to "pin" their posts to real-world locations. It creates a beautiful, interactive world map filled with stories, tips, and experiences shared by Steemians from all over the globe. Whether it's a beach in the Philippines, a street food stall in Vietnam, or a hidden temple in Northern Thailand, you can explore it through authentic content — all mapped out and easy to find. 🌍

As for me, I’ve found in Steem Atlas the perfect home for my content. My Steemit blog focuses on introducing my country, Thailand 🇹🇭, especially Phuket Island and the Tak region, which I feel are often overlooked or misunderstood. Using the Pin Location feature, I can attach each of my posts directly to the spot I’m talking about — whether it's a serene beach, a cozy café, a wonderful temple, or a vibrant street market.
But I don’t just share travel guides!
I also use Steem Atlas to highlight:
- 🌴 Hidden gems off the tourist trail
- 🍲 Out-of-the-ordinary restaurants
- 🛍️ Interesting shopping spots with character
- 🧘♀️ Insights into my everyday Thai lifestyle
With each post, I’m not just dropping a pin — I’m opening a window into my world.
This is why Steem Atlas has quickly become one of the most important tools I use on Steem. It makes my blog more immersive, more useful, and more connected to reality.

Special Thanks 🙏
Before anything else, I want to express my heartfelt thanks to @mohammadfaisal, who first introduced me to Steem Atlas and encouraged me to be part of this journey. I mentioned this in a previous post, but I’d love to repeat it here because his support really made a difference.
"I actually discovered this wonderful platform thanks to @mohammadfaisal, a Steem Atlas Ambassador, who kindly invited me to join and share my journeys there."

Not only did he introduce me to the project, but he also guided me through my first steps. I’d also like to warmly thank @damithudaya for being incredibly supportive and always ready to help me grow within the platform. 🙌

Climbing the Leaderboard 🏆
Thanks to their encouragement and the beautiful vision behind Steem Atlas, I’ve been actively pinning my travel and culture posts to the map. I’m now happy to say that I’ve reached Rank #68 on the Steem Atlas Leaderboard! 🎉
It’s a joy to see Thailand represented on the map, and even more so knowing that others can discover the beauty of my country through my posts.

Delegating to Support the Project 💪
My support for Steem Atlas goes beyond just using the platform — I’ve also decided to contribute in a more concrete and sustainable way.
Recently, I made the choice to purchase 1,000 STEEM on the crypto exchange Probit, which I then transferred to my Steem wallet.

Once the funds arrived, I performed a power-up — converting my liquid STEEM into Steem Power.

Why do this? Because powering up strengthens the Steem blockchain. It’s one of the most meaningful ways to show commitment and help grow the ecosystem. With more Steem Power, I gain more influence on the platform — whether it’s curating content, supporting projects I believe in, or contributing to community growth.
I’ve taken the same approach in the past to support the Camping Club Steemit community, led by the inspiring @visionaer3003, which also holds a special place in my heart. 🏕️

Now, I’m proud to say that I’ve added a new delegation of 1000 SP to Steem Atlas — to help fuel its mission of connecting people through travel and location-based content. 💥

So at the moment, I’m running two active delegations of 1000 SP each as you can see on https://steemworld.org/@baiboua built with ♥ by @steemchiller — one to Camping Club Steemit, and one to Steem Atlas. Supporting both feels completely aligned with the values I try to promote through my blog: community, authenticity, and discovery.

Voting for the Future – Steem Atlas DAO Proposal ✅
In addition to using and delegating to Steem Atlas, I’ve also taken another step to support the project — by voting for its DAO proposal on the Steem Proposals System.
For those who are unfamiliar, the Steem DAO (Decentralized Autonomous Organization) is a governance system built into the blockchain. It allows users with Steem Power to vote on funding proposals that help grow and improve the ecosystem. These proposals can be for community projects, development tools, events, or innovative platforms — like Steem Atlas.
You can explore all current proposals and vote directly from:
I personally voted for Proposal #110 – “Steem Atlas: Taking it to the Next Level”, because I truly believe in what this project is building:
A global, visual, and community-driven map of Steem — powered by local stories.

If you also value travel content, authentic local experiences, and tools that make Steem more visible and useful to the world, I really encourage you to consider supporting this proposal too.
Every vote counts, and even small SP holders can help shape the future of our blockchain. 🌱
Supporting the People Behind the Project 🙌
To complete my support for Steem Atlas, I also decided to vote for their official witness account: @pennsif.witness.
For those who are new to this part of the blockchain, witnesses are responsible for producing blocks, securing the network, and maintaining the Steem ecosystem. By voting for a witness, you’re helping decide who runs the core infrastructure of Steem — and that’s a big deal!
I already voted for @visionaer3003, the founder of Camping Club Steemit, a community I admire and support deeply. Now, I’m happy to also support @pennsif.witness, who plays a key role in developing and expanding the Steem Atlas project.
Every witness vote helps build a stronger, more resilient blockchain — so if you also appreciate these efforts, consider casting your vote too! 🗳️
Ongoing Support 💛
From now on, I’ll also be adding Steem Atlas as a beneficiary to my posts that include a Pin Location. It’s a small gesture, but I hope it helps the project thrive and expand.
If you haven’t tried Steem Atlas yet, I really recommend visiting https://steematlas.com, pinning your own posts, and exploring what others are sharing from every corner of the world. ✨
Let’s keep building something beautiful, together 💫
Much love from Thailand 🇹🇭,
@baiboua | 🌸 My Achievement 1 post: Greetings from Phuket 🏝️ Thailand 🇹🇭
I am happy that you found Steem Atlas is a great place. I appreciate your content and efforts. I hope you will continue sharing #steemexclusive content on Steem Atlas which means do not share content on other platforms which you share here.
Congratulations for the good power up. Indeed it is the best way to show your commitment to the platform.
Do you know I am organising two contests each week related to Steem Atlas:
https://steemit.com/traveling-steem/@mohammadfaisal/pin-and-win-map-your-world-on-steem-atlas-week-18-and-winners-of-week-17

Moreover you can join Steemit challenge about Steem Atlas:
Amazing! Thank you for your enthusiasm. We hope you can add more colour to the Steem Atlas, with your commitment to the traveling. Hoping to see more from you!
a true traveler who needs the community as there are few authentic travelers here.
Thank you for supporting the Steem Atlas project, and for supporting @pennsif.witness.
